Der Brunello di Montalcino "Ugolaia" 2020 von Lisini ist ein 100%iger Sangiovese mit großem Charakter, der aus einer der historischen Lagen von Sant'Angelo in Colle stammt. Die Nase ist tief und komplex, mit Anklängen von reifer Kirsche, dunklen Waldfrüchten, Noten von mediterranen Kräutern, Lakritze, Leder, Gewürzen und einem ausgeprägten mineralischen Eindruck. Am Gaumen ist er strukturiert, kraftvoll, aber ausgewogen, mit dichten und gut geformten Tanninen, unterstützt von einer lebendigen Frische, die Spannung und Länge verleiht. Der Abgang ist lang, elegant und anhaltend, mit balsamischen und würzigen Noten. Es ist ein authentischer und rigoroser Brunello, der für die Reifung gedacht ist, ideal zu rotem Fleisch, Schmorbraten, Wild und wichtigen Gerichten.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
