Der Cabreo Il Borgo 1997 von Tenute del Cabreo ist ein toskanischer IGT-Wein, eine Cuvée aus Sangiovese und Cabernet Sauvignon mit einem historischen Zusatz von Merlot, im Stahltank vinifiziert und lange in Barriques gereift. Er präsentiert sich in einem intensiven Rubinrot mit komplexen Aromen von dunklen Waldfrüchten, Unterholz und würzigen Noten, die sich zu balsamischen und rauchigen Anklängen entwickeln. Am Gaumen ist er strukturiert, vollmundig und samtig, mit einer Nachhaltigkeit, die ihn ideal für die Begleitung von Braten aus rotem Fleisch und Wild macht.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
