Das Weingut La Chablisienne überrascht uns weiterhin mit der Qualität seiner Weine, wie die Cuvée Les Vénérables zeigt. Sie wird aus 35 Jahre alten Rebstöcken gewonnen, die auf einem Boden wachsen, der Kalkstein und Kimmeridge-Mergel abwechselt, eine typische Bodenart des Chablis. Der Most wird in Tanks vergoren, und der Wein reift anschließend 14 Monate lang auf der Feinhefe in Tanks und Holzfässern, um Tiefe und Dichte zu entwickeln. Das Ergebnis ist eine klare und brillante Cuvée, die in der Nase ein intensives und reichhaltiges Bouquet von blumigen Noten und weißen Früchten verströmt und am Gaumen eine wunderbar seidige und mineralische Struktur zeigt. Außerdem besitzt sie ein bemerkenswertes Alterungspotenzial.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
