Château Malartic Lagravière wurde Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts von der Familie des Grafen Hyppolite de Maurès de Malartic erworben und ist seit Jahrhunderten für die Qualität seines Terroirs berühmt. 1997 erwarb die Familie Bonnie das Weingut von der Familie Marly. Der Weinberg erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von 53 Hektar (46 ha mit roten Rebsorten und 7 ha mit weißen Rebsorten), und die heute produzierten Weine sind von außergewöhnlicher Qualität.

Diese Weine haben eine schöne Nase, in der sich Noten von Lakritze und roten Früchten verbinden. Am Gaumen zeigen sich ihre Aromen reif, fruchtig und süß, während die Tannine weich, charmant und sehr tiefgründig sind.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
