Château Pipeau befindet sich in Saint-Laurent-des-Combes in der Appellation Saint-Emilion Grand Cru im Weinbaugebiet Bordeaux. Dieses Familienweingut wird seit 1929 von Generation zu Generation weitergegeben. Der Weinberg erstreckt sich über etwa 22 Hektar und ist hauptsächlich mit den Rebsorten Merlot, Cabernet Franc und Cabernet Sauvignon bepflanzt. Die Reben werden auf traditionelle Weise angebaut und es werden umweltfreundliche Anbaumethoden angewandt, wie die integrierte Bekämpfung von Rebschädlingen und Krankheiten. Der Weinberg ist seit 2017 biologisch zertifiziert.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
