Château Simone wird aus Clairette-Trauben gewonnen, die in der Weinbaulandschaft der Region ebenso unverzichtbar sind wie Grenache Blanc und Ugni Blanc. Die über 50 Jahre alten Rebstöcke werden nach einer extrem sanften Pressung mit vertikalen Pressen und eigenen Hefen vinifiziert. Die gewonnene Flüssigkeit reift dann 6 Monate in großen Holzfässern und 12 Monate in Barriques unterschiedlichen Typs. Blumige und fruchtige Aromen von großer Eleganz, die sich allmählich zu einem zarten und kräftigen Bouquet entwickeln.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
