Für diese Cuvée hat das Weingut Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre und Cinsault von jungen, etwa 30 Jahre alten Rebstöcken assembliert. Das Weingut hat sich für manuelle Ernten und doppelte Sortierschritte entschieden, einen während der Ernte und einen im Keller. Die Trauben werden systematisch entrappt und einer traditionellen Gärung in offenen Tanks für 25/30 Tage bei kontrollierten Temperaturen unterzogen. Nach der pneumatischen Pressung folgt die malolaktische Gärung. Schließlich reift der Wein für die ersten zehn Monate in inerten Behältern und für weitere 7 Monate in großen französischen Eichenfässern von 30 hl. Dieser Châteauneuf-du-Pape wird Sie mit seinem großzügigen und runden Profil überzeugen, das von runden Tanninen geprägt ist. Wir empfehlen, ihn jung zu genießen.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
