Der Chianti Classico 1983 von Castelgreve ist ein reifer und raffinierter Sangiovese, der Eleganz und Tiefe ausdrückt. Im Glas präsentiert er sich mit einem Granatrot, angereichert mit orangefarbenen Reflexen. In der Nase öffnet er sich mit Noten von Kirsche und Trockenpflaume, Unterholz, Tabak, Leder und leichten Gewürzen. Am Gaumen ist er harmonisch und weich, mit geschliffenen Tanninen, ausgewogener Säure und einem langen, anhaltenden Abgang, mit fruchtigen Rückaromen und balsamischen Nuancen. Ein historischer Wein, trinkfertig, ideal zu Braten, Wild und reifem Käse, aber auch perfekt zum alleinigen Genuss.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
