Der Clos des Lambrays ist einer der fünf Grand Crus der Gemeinde Morey-Saint-Denis und bringt wohl den charakteristischsten Wein hervor. Er gehört fast vollständig der Domaine des Lambrays. Nur ein kleiner Teil ist im Besitz der Domaine Taupenot-Merme. Der Clos des Lambrays ist vollmundig, konzentriert und außerordentlich elegant und besitzt eine seltene aromatische Komplexität: Noten von Brombeere, Heidelbeere und Himbeere, und mit der Zeit nimmt er Nuancen von Unterholz, Trüffel, Gewürzen, Lakritze und Veilchen an. Sein Alterungspotenzial übersteigt im Allgemeinen 20 Jahre.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
