Der Brut di Contadi Castaldi ist ein frischer und faszinierender Schaumwein, der mindestens 20 Monate auf der Hefe gereift ist. In der Nase zeigen sich frische Lindenaromen und angenehme Noten von Zitrusfrüchten, weißem Pfirsich und grünem Pfeffer. Am Gaumen ist er straff, lebendig, sehr trinkfreudig und hat einen anhaltenden Abgang.

Er ist äußerst vielseitig und passt zu Aperitifs und delikaten Fischgerichten, wobei er auch interessante Kombinationen mit Zubereitungen wie Suppen und Risottos eingeht. Die Vielseitigkeit im Dienste der Eleganz.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
