Domaine de l'Horizon wurde 2006 aus einer Idee von Thomas Teibert geboren: der biodynamische Prozess ist der richtige Prozess, um ein Ergebnis von ausgezeichneter Qualität zu erzielen. Der Wein, der aus dem biodynamischen Regime resultiert, ist ein 100% gesunder Wein, da vor allem die Eigenschaften der Trauben erhalten bleiben. Auch in Bezug auf Geschmack und Aroma bewahrt der Wein den authentischen und eigentlichen Geschmack dieser Gebiete. Die Trauben werden zu 100 % von Hand geerntet und spontan mit wilden Hefen des Weinbergs vergoren. Obwohl fruchtig oder blumig, ist der Fels das Schlüsselelement dieser Produktion.

Im Laufe der Jahre hat Thomas seine Weinberge von 2,5 auf fast 17 Hektar im Jahr 2009 erweitert, die nach biodynamischen Verfahren bewirtschaftet werden. Dort finden wir Carignan, Grenache, Syrah und bei den Weißweinen Macabeu, Grenache Gris und Muscat à Petits Grains. Das Durchschnittsalter der Rebstöcke beträgt über 70 Jahre.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
