Der Ladoix 1er Cru "La Micaude" 2005 von Capitain-Gagnerot ist einer der maßgeblichsten Ausdrucksweisen dieses historischen Weinguts, stammend aus einem mythischen Jahrgang, der dem Burgund Weine von außergewöhnlicher Kraft und Langlebigkeit bescherte. Dieser spezielle Weinberg ist ein Monopol, eine Parzelle im Alleinbesitz der Familie Capitain, die direkt an die Corton-Hügel grenzt. Dieses Terroir verleiht dem Pinot Noir eine Struktur und Eleganz, die fast an einen Grand Cru erinnert. Nach zwei Jahrzehnten hat der Wein eine herrliche Reife erreicht, präsentiert sich mit einer tiefen rubinroten Farbe mit ziegelroten Reflexen und einem äußerst komplexen aromatischen Bouquet, in dem die jugendlichen Noten von Brombeere und Himbeere sich zu tertiären Noten von Leder, Trüffel, Lakritz und süßen Gewürzen entwickelt haben. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Jahrgang 2005 in seiner vollen Fülle: Die Tanninstruktur ist solide, aber inzwischen perfekt vom Alter geglättet, gestützt von einer mineralischen Frische, die immer noch einen lebendigen und tiefen Trinkfluss garantiert. Traditionell mit einer Reifung in französischen Eichenfässern für etwa 12 Monate vinifiziert, stellt dieser Wein den idealen Treffpunkt zwischen der Muscularität von Corton und der Eleganz von Ladoix dar. Um ihn vollends zu genießen, sollte er bei 17°C in großen Gläsern serviert werden, begleitet von strukturierten Gerichten wie Wild, Rotweinbraten oder gereiftem Käse.
