Der „Luce“ ist ein Supertuscan von großem Reichtum und Energie, der aus Sangiovese und Merlot gewonnen und 24 Monate in Barriques gereift wird. Er besitzt eine tiefe und vielschichtige Aromenausstattung von Waldfrüchten, verwelkten Blumen, balsamischen und mentholhaltigen Kräutern und vor allem süßen Gewürzen. Am Gaumen zeigt er sich strukturiert, tanninhaltig, intensiv und von überschwänglicher Frische.
Die Trauben werden zwischen der ersten und letzten Septemberwoche geerntet. Der Most gärt 12 Tage lang in temperaturkontrollierten Edelstahltanks bei einer Temperatur, die 28 Grad nie überschreitet, und mazeriert 4 Wochen lang auf den Schalen. Die malolaktische Gärung findet anschließend in Barriques statt. Der Wein reift dann 24 Monate lang in 85% neuen Barriques.
