Der „Luce“ ist ein Supertuscan von großem Reichtum und Energie, der aus Sangiovese und Merlot gewonnen wird und 24 Monate in Barriques reift. Er hat ein tiefes und vielschichtiges Aromaprofil von Waldbeeren, verwelkten Blumen, balsamischen und minzigen Kräutern und vor allem süßen Gewürzen. Im Geschmack zeigt er sich strukturiert, tanninhaltig, intensiv und von überschwänglicher Frische.

Die Trauben werden zwischen der ersten und letzten Septemberwoche geerntet. Der Most gärt 12 Tage lang in thermokonditionierten Edelstahltanks bei einer Temperatur, die 28 Grad nie überschreitet, und mazeriert 4 Wochen lang auf den Schalen. Die malolaktische Gärung findet dann in Barriques statt. Er reift für 24 Monate in zu 85% neuen Barriques.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
