Am Gaumen hat sich die ursprünglich strenge Textur in einen seidigen und tiefgründigen Schluck verwandelt, unterstützt von einer Säureschulter, die seine außergewöhnliche Langlebigkeit garantiert hat. Nach burgundischer Tradition vinifiziert, ist er heute ein Juwel für Kenner reifer Burgunder und ideal, um bei 16-17°C nach kurzer Belüftung zur Trennung eventueller Sedimente serviert zu werden. Er passt zu Federwildgerichten, Ente oder kräftigem reifem Käse.

I ordered three bottles: a 1999 French wine that I opened recently—it was a huge hit.
The other two were a Barolo Serralunga d’Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d’Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015. I haven’t opened them yet, but they look very promising.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent; the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and stuck out, but I managed to protect it anyway.
Great prices that you won’t find on other similar sites.
