I Luoghi, eine reine Konzentration frischer Jugend, echter Persönlichkeit und geschmacklicher Finesse, im pulsierenden Herzen des Weinbaugebiets Bolgheri. Seit den frühen 2000er Jahren sind Stefano Granata und Paola De Fusco, ein Elektronik-Ingenieur und eine Önologin, in Castagneto Carducci die Hausherren und die Seele des Weinguts. Sie haben sich bei der Führung ihres Weinguts I Luoghi stets auf die Seite der Natur gestellt, indem sie den Einsatz von synthetischen chemischen Produkten und Herbiziden im Weinberg verbannt und die Düngung auf ein Minimum reduziert haben, um das vegetabile und produktive Gleichgewicht der Pflanzen zu erhalten. Auch im Weinkeller wird versucht, den Most so wenig wie möglich zu berühren, indem Spontangärungen nur mit natürlich auf den Traubenschalen vorhandenen Hefen eingeleitet und täglich leichte Umpump- und Unterstoßen-Arbeiten durchgeführt werden.
