Domaine Laporte Sancerre Les Garennes 2012 ist ein eleganter und gebietstypischer Sauvignon Blanc aus Sancerre, der von einem der etabliertesten Weingüter der Region hergestellt wird.

Im Glas zeigt er sich in einem hellen Strohgelb. Die Nase nimmt die klassischen Merkmale eines Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc wahr: frische Zitrusfrüchte, grüner Apfel und aromatische Kräuter, mit einer subtilen mineralischen Note, die typisch für die kalkhaltigen Böden der Parzelle Les Garennes ist.

Am Gaumen ist er straff und trocken, geprägt von einer lebendigen Säure, sauberer Mineralität und einem langen, salzigen Abgang – ein Stil, der das Terroir der Loire und das Können des Winzers im Umgang mit dem Gleichgewicht zwischen Kraft und Finesse gut widerspiegelt.

Er passt hervorragend zu Fischgerichten, Krustentieren, reichhaltigen Salaten, frischem Käse (wie Ziegenkäse) oder einfach als frischer Aperitif.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
