Die Cantina Perillo von Michele Perillo ist ein kleiner Betrieb, der fünf Hektar Weinberge in den Gemeinden Castelfranci und Montemarano bewirtschaftet. Die auf einer Höhe von 600 bis 700 m über dem Meeresspiegel gelegenen Weinberge sind strahlenförmig angelegt, einige davon sind sehr alt und wurzelecht. Da der Weinberg auch an steilen Hängen angelegt ist, genießt er eine hervorragende Sonneneinstrahlung. Der Taurasi Riserva von Perillo ist ein "kraftvoller" Wein, reich an Extrakten und mit einer großen geschmacklichen Tiefe. Er braucht Zeit und Geduld, um die außergewöhnliche und aggressive Tanninladung zu zähmen. Der Taurasi ist ein wichtiger Rotwein mit großer Struktur.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
