Barolo DOCG Lazzarito di Boasso Franco is an authentic interpretation of the Serralunga d'Alba terroir, produced by the Boasso Franco family winery, which embodies the prestige of Barolo crus. Ruby red in color with garnet hues, this wine stands out for its classic bouquet with notes of vegetal tar, hot spices and fruit reminiscent of black cherry in alcohol. Light hints of rose and violet emerge on the finish. On the palate, tones of a dead fireplace and ash are perceived, accompanied by raspberry and cherry in syrup. The dense and ripe tannins reveal a vigorous character and promise a long evolution, ensuring long-lasting aging and a refined expression of the Piedmontese territory.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
