This wine is made from Nebbiolo, the symbolic grape of the Langa, as a refined introduction to the "King of Wines". The grapes come from a dedicated vineyard and from rows close to non-organic vineyards, maintaining excellent quality. After 14 months of aging in second-passage French oak barriques and at least 2 months in the bottle, the result is a ruby ​​red wine with garnet and purple hues. On the nose it offers sweet and fruity aromas, while on the palate it is dry, velvety and balanced, with harmonious tannins balanced by acidity. Ideal with cured meats, stuffed pasta and roast meats.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
