Ruffino is a large winery based in Tuscany, producing wines from different regions of Central and Northern Italy. The company was founded in 1877 when cousins Ilario and Leopoldo Ruffino founded a small winery in Pontassieve near Florence. In the 1880s, the company regularly won international awards and, in 1890, became the official supplier to the Italian royal family.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
