Azienda Agricola Schiavenza is a Piedmontese winery located in Barolo, founded in 1956 in the renowned village of Serralunga d'Alba. The vineyards of Serralunga d'Alba are cultivated on clay and limestone slopes with south-east and west exposures. These vineyards are predominantly planted with Nebbiolo and Dolcetto grapes. This Barolo has an intense garnet color with ruby ​​​​hues. On the nose, it presents aromas of berries, violets and roses. In the mouth it is full and intense, with velvety tannins.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
