Bruno Giacosa was a point of reference in the world of Italian wine, especially for the Barolo and Barbaresco denominations. Bruno grew up among the vineyards: at just 13 years old he was already helping out in the family cellar and immediately learned the importance of selecting the bunches during the harvests; thanks to his expertise, he was also able to make himself known as a skilled grape trader. Before purchasing his estate, the Azienda Agricola Falletto, he vinified grapes from prestigious crus. In the cellar, the maceration of the red wines takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The whites are left to age in stainless steel tanks, while the Barbera and Nebbiolo mature in large oak barrels. Aging lasts on average from 1 to 3 years depending on the cuvée; the latter are left to rest for some time in the bottle before being put on sale.
