Il Barolo 2021 proviene dal comune di Monforte d'Alba, una delle zone più vocate per la produzione del Nebbiolo. Questo vino esprime l'eleganza e la complessità tipiche del terroir, con una vinificazione attenta e un affinamento che ne esalta le caratteristiche. Nel calice si presenta con un colore rosso granato intenso. Al naso offre un bouquet ricco di ciliegia matura, rose appassite, spezie dolci e note minerali. I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
