Un Barolo classico e armonioso, espressione autentica della tradizione dei Marchesi di Barolo. Ottenuto da Nebbiolo in purezza proveniente da vigneti storici con suoli calcareo-argillosi, affina in grandi botti di rovere per esaltare eleganza e complessità. Al naso sprigiona profumi di ciliegia e lampone, viola appassita, liquirizia e spezie fini, con tocchi balsamici e minerali. In bocca è strutturato ma equilibrato, con tannini setosi, freschezza viva e un finale lungo e armonico che riflette il carattere classico del Barolo tradizionale. L’annata del 2021 è considerata eccellente nelle Langhe, caratterizzata da maturazioni regolari e clima equilibrato. I Barolo di quest’annata si distinguono per precisione aromatica, tannini maturi e acidità ben integrata. Vini eleganti, ricchi ma raffinati, con grande potenziale di longevità.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
