Un Barolo di straordinaria intensità ed eleganza, proveniente dal celebre cru Bussia di Monforte d’Alba. Realizzato da Nebbiolo in purezza, affina per circa 30 mesi in legno, sviluppando profumi complessi di ciliegia matura, violetta, liquirizia, tabacco e spezie fini. Al palato è strutturato e armonioso, con tannini solidi ma setosi, grande profondità e un finale lungo e minerale. Un vino che incarna la potenza e la raffinatezza del terroir di Bussia. L’annata del 2020 è stata  caratterizzata da un andamento climatico equilibrato, con estate calda ma non estrema e notti fresche che hanno preservato aromi e acidità. I Barolo di quest’annata si distinguono per equilibrio, eleganza e potenziale evolutivo, unendo struttura e bevibilità.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
