Nasce nel cuore del celebre cru Cannubi, nel comune di Barolo, su terreni ricchi di sabbia e calcare, ideali per il Nebbiolo. Vinificato con fermentazione in acciaio e affinamento in grandi botti di rovere per circa 24 mesi, questo Barolo si distingue per la sua eleganza e finezza. Si presenta con un colore rubino intenso. Al naso, offre un bouquet complesso di ciliegia matura, rosa appassita, spezie dolci e note terrose, con un accenno di cuoio. Il palato è strutturato, con tannini morbidi e ben integrati, acidità vivace e un finale lungo e minerale. Questa annata 2021, caratterizzata da un inverno freddo e una primavera piovosa, seguita da un'estate calda ma non eccessivamente secca, ha favorito una maturazione equilibrata delle uve. Le piogge primaverili hanno garantito riserve idriche sufficienti, mentre l'estate ha permesso una maturazione ottimale, conferendo al vino una buona acidità e struttura.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
