Un Barolo dal carattere profondo e vigoroso, proveniente dal prestigioso cru Mosconi di Monforte d’Alba, celebre per i suoi vini potenti e longevi. Prodotto da Nebbiolo in purezza, affina per circa 30 mesi in botti di rovere di grande capacità, rispettando l’equilibrio naturale tra struttura e finezza. Al naso si apre con profumi intensi di frutti rossi maturi, viola, spezie scure e note di sottobosco. Al palato rivela grande densità, tannini solidi ma levigati e una spiccata vena minerale, che accompagna un finale lungo, profondo e di straordinaria eleganza. L’annata del 2020 è tra le migliori del decennio per equilibrio e definizione. L’andamento climatico regolare, con un’estate calda ma mai estrema e un settembre asciutto e ventilato, ha favorito uve sane e perfettamente mature. I Barolo 2020 si distinguono per finezza aromatica, tannini setosi e freschezza vibrante: vini armoniosi, eleganti e di grande prospettiva evolutiva.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
