Un Barolo dal profilo elegante e moderno, frutto di un’accurata selezione di Nebbiolo proveniente dai migliori vigneti di Castiglione Falletto e La Morra. Dopo la fermentazione in acciaio, affina per 18 mesi in botti di rovere di Slavonia, sviluppando complessità e armonia. Al naso si apre con profumi di amarena, rosa appassita, spezie fini e leggere note balsamiche. In bocca è pieno e vellutato, con tannini maturi, equilibrio tra struttura e freschezza, e un finale lungo e persistente. L’annata del 2021 è considerata eccellente nelle Langhe, con clima regolare e maturazioni perfette. I Barolo di quest’annata mostrano frutto puro, tannini eleganti e acidità vibrante: vini raffinati, equilibrati e di grande prospettiva evolutiva.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
