Il Château Lambert Fronsac 1975 è un vino rosso della denominazione Fronsac, nella regione di Bordeaux, espressione di uno stile tradizionale basato principalmente su Merlot con eventuali apporti di Cabernet Franc, e rappresenta oggi una bottiglia di lunga evoluzione; l’annata 1975 a Bordeaux è stata caratterizzata da vini molto tannici e strutturati in gioventù, pensati per un lunghissimo invecchiamento, e dopo decenni questo vino si presenta con un colore granato molto evoluto, con riflessi aranciati e mattonati, mentre al naso offre un bouquet complesso e delicato con note di frutta rossa ormai evoluta, prugna secca, fichi, accompagnate da sentori terziari di cuoio, tabacco, sottobosco, funghi secchi e leggere sfumature speziate; al palato è morbido e sottile, con tannini completamente levigati, una struttura ormai delicata e un equilibrio che dipende molto dallo stato di conservazione, con un finale elegante ma non particolarmente lungo, giocato su note terrose e ossidative, e proprio per la sua età si abbina meglio a piatti non eccessivamente strutturati come carni arrosto leggere, pollame, preparazioni a base di funghi e formaggi stagionati ma non troppo intensi, offrendo un’esperienza più legata alla finezza e alla complessità evolutiva che alla potenza.
