Moulis-en-Médoc è un piccolo villaggio nel distretto Haut-Médoc di Bordeaux nel sud-ovest della Francia. Dà il nome alla denominazione Moulis, che comprende i vini rossi prodotti principalmente da Cabernet Sauvignon e Merlot. I terreni intorno a Moulis non beneficiano delle grandi proporzioni di ghiaia presenti a Margaux o Graves, ma ciò che esiste è mescolato con argilla e calcare, consentendo la produzione di alcuni vini di alta qualità. I bordi orientali di Moulis sono delimitati dal bordo settentrionale di Margaux e quindi beneficiare di tutto importante terroir. Il Cabernet Sauvignon, in particolare, risponde bene alle qualità drenanti dei terreni ghiaiosi e produce vini di alta qualità a Moulis.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
