La tenuta “Gagliole”, situata nelle colline del Chianti, fa della raccolta a mano e della rigorosa selezione delle uve i suoi punti di forza. Ottenuto da sole uve Sangiovese, fermenta dapprima in acciaio, per poi essere elevato in barriques di rovere francese per il 50% e in cemento per l’altra metà. Prima della vendita viene affinato in bottiglia per altri 3 mesi, in modo da completare le sensazioni tattili che lo caratterizzano: su tutti spiccano il profumo di frutti rossi e la morbidezza di questo vino.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
