Situata ad Ampuis, culla dei vini della Côte-Rôtie, la tenuta Guigal è stata creata nel 1946 da Etienne Guigal. Il vigneto si estende su tutte le più prestigiose denominazioni della Valle del Rodano: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Hermitage, Gigondas e Crozes-Hermitage. Tutti i vini vengono vinificati e affinati nelle cantine di Ampuis. La tenuta riserva una particolare attenzione a tutti gli aspetti del processo produttivo: agricoltura sostenibile (certificata HVE), lavoro interamente manuale a causa alla pendenza dei terreni, vinificazione in tini di acciaio inox a temperatura controllata, affinamento in botti di rovere nuove (fino a 42 mesi per alcune cuvée) per consentire al vino di esprimere pienamente tutti i suoi aromi, ecc. La Maison Guigal produce tre cuvée prestige: La Landonne, La Mouline e La Turque, tre vini magnifici, molto apprezzati dagli amanti della Côte-Rôtie. Questa famosa tenuta si distingue anche per quanto riguarda le sue strutture: la sede principale si trova presso lo Château d'Ampuis, un gioiello rinascimentale protetto come Monumento Storico. Guigal è una delle tenute più importanti della Valle del Rodano, rinomata per il livello dei vini sempre impeccabile e la rigorosa selezione delle uve.
