The Langhe Dolcetto DOC comes from hillside vineyards in Castellinaldo d'Alba, planted in 1975, with a western exposure on mixed marl and sand soils. Trained using low espaliers and Guyot pruning, the vineyard is managed sustainably, using organic fertilizers and low-impact pest management. The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September, selecting the finest grapes. After fermentation in stainless steel at 30°C, the wine ages in stainless steel for several months and then in bottle for another three months. It has a ruby color with violet highlights, a fruity aroma of Marasca cherry, and a dry, fresh, and fruity flavor.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
