"Luce" is a Super Tuscan of great richness and energy, made from Sangiovese and Merlot and aged for 24 months in barrique. It has a deep and complex aromatic profile of berries, dried flowers, balsamic and mentholated herbs, and, above all, sweet spices. On the palate, it is structured, tannic, intense, and exuberantly fresh.

The grapes are harvested between the first and last week of September. The must ferments for 12 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at a temperature never exceeding 28°C, macerating on the skins for 4 weeks. Malolactic fermentation then takes place in barriques. The wine ages for 24 months in 85% new barriques.

The estate's iconic wine, which redefines the concept of "Super Tuscan" and tantalizes the palates of enthusiasts and critics around the world.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
