Rosso importante e aristocratico a lungo in fusti di rovere e il successivo affinamento in bottiglia lo rendono un vino di grande equilibrio, di gusto pieno ed elegante. Ha un colore rosso intenso e un buon corpo con un’eccellente trama tannica che lo rende avvolgente e vellutato. La vinificazione è in vasche di cemento con lunga macerazione sulle bucce. Malolattica svolta.

maturazione: 18-20 mesi in fusti di rovere francese e americano di media e alta tostatura, in parte nuovi; 60-90 giorni di assemblamento in acciaio e 120 giorni di affinamento in vetro.

I ordered three bottles, a 1999 French, recently opened, made a great impression.
The other two are a Barolo Serralunga d'Alba from Fontanafredda and a Nebbiolo d'Alba Riccheri from Marchesi di Barolo, both from 2015, which I have yet to open but the prospects are excellent.
Shipping and packaging were equally excellent, the Marchesi di Barolo bottle was longer and protruding but I still managed to protect it.
Great prices that you won't find on other similar sites.
I will definitely be back to buy more.
