Cru Faset is one of the most renowned areas of Barbaresco, historically belonging to the Counts Cocito of Neive and now divided between different owners. Located in a steep valley facing south, with the western side sloping towards the Tanaro river, the vineyard extends for about 3 hectares in the Cabanet farmhouse. The soils rich in calcium and magnesium give the wines silky tannins and a distinctive elegance. Part of the UNESCO site "Vineyard Landscapes of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato", the wine has a ruby garnet red color, aroma of dried rose petals, red fruits and fine spices. On the palate it is structured, elegant, with very fine tannins and a marked minerality.
