The Barolo DOCG area includes a total of 11 municipalities with altitudes between 200 and 550 meters. The Barolo wine-growing area is so characteristic that it cannot be reproduced elsewhere. Furthermore, Nebbiolo is the grape variety that more than any other modifies its fruit in relation to the quality of the climate and the soil. And it is precisely because of these characteristics that Nebbiolo almost never bears the name of the grape variety, but the name of the area, of the town where it is rooted, because the fruit is already different in relation to the microclimate of the area and the composition of the soil and, therefore, the wine is different. And in Barolo, Nebbiolo finds its maximum expression.
