Marziano Abbona's Barolo DOCG, obtained from Nebbiolo grapes from the Monforte d'Alba vineyard, is a wine of great finesse and power. The vinification involves a skin maceration, followed by a spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The aging in barrels gives the wine a solid structure and an alcohol content that reaches an average of 15°. This Barolo stands out for its elegance, with a complex olfactory bouquet that ranges from notes of red fruits to spicy nuances and a long and persistent finish. Fresher and more immediate than other more complex Barolos, it is perfect for tasting already in the first years, but has excellent aging potential. Ideal to be served at 18°C after leaving the bottle at room temperature for at least 24 hours, it perfectly accompanies red meat dishes and mature cheeses.
