Barolo, known as the "king of wines", is appreciated for its nobility, austerity and richness of flavors and aromas. Produced southwest of Alba, in a hilly area with a complex geological profile, this wine is distinguished by its unique characteristics. The Barolo denomination is today one of the most appreciated in Italy, and the castles of the Marquises of Barolo and the Count of Cavour, where it was created, are important winemaking centers. Barolo has a garnet red color that tends to orange with aging, complex aromas of violet and vanilla, and a warm and persistent taste.
