Chianti Classico - 2021 - La Montanina
The Chianti Classico DOCG 2021 is composed of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Ciliegiolo, coming from various plots located in Monti in Chianti. After a careful selection of the grapes, maceration takes place without stalks for 15 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. This is followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and maturation for at least 12 months in 10 and 20 HL French and Slavonian oak barrels. After assembly in cement tanks, the wine ages in the bottle for at least 6 months. It has an intense ruby red color, spicy and fruity notes, with balanced tannins and good persistence.
