Chianti Classico "Belcanto" - 2021 - Nittardi
Chianti Classico DOCG Belcanto is a red wine produced by Tenuta Nittardi, a company that boasts a history that dates back several centuries. With such a legacy, it follows that the winery wants to pay homage to the traditions that have ensured its success, passing on to future generations the importance of the link with the past. An excellent example of this type of approach can be found in this wine, which ideally wants to pay homage to Michelangelo Buonarroti, a great Florentine artist who, for a period, was the owner of the winery. To produce this intense and full-bodied red, the classic Sangiovese, present for 90%, is combined with other native vines for the remaining 10%. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks, while the maturation phase takes place inside tonneaux and lasts for twelve months.
