Casavecchia alla Piazza is an organic winery located in the municipality of Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico. Founded in 1989 by Gabriele Buondonno, the company extends over 12 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of 400-450 meters above sea level, benefiting from a cool microclimate that contributes to the freshness and complexity of its wines. The winery produces several labels, including the Chianti Classico DOCG, appreciated for its expressiveness and balance between fruity and spicy notes, and the Chianti Classico Riserva, characterized by a more complex structure and remarkable longevity. In addition to wine production, Casavecchia alla Piazza offers a unique wine tourism experience, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the Tuscan winemaking tradition through guided tours and tastings of its fine wines.
