Marchesi (de') Frescobaldi is a historic Italian wine producer located in Tuscany. I Leccioni Chianti Docg has a beautiful ruby red color with purple reflections on the rim. The nose ranges from flowers to fruits, up to a very delicate spiciness at the end. Among the fruity sensations, red or black berries, wild strawberry, currant and blueberry stand out perfectly. The note of rose arrives at a later time accompanied by these light sensations of clove and black pepper. The acid-alcohol balance is beautiful, the persistence is excellent, as is the taste-olfactory correspondence.
