Barbaresco DOCG di Belcolle is born in the Nebbiolo vineyards located in the municipalities of Barbaresco, Neive and Treiso. The vines are grown on sandy and calcareous soils at an ideal altitude with south-southwest exposure, characteristics that give the wine an elegant and well-balanced structure. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by a long maceration and malolactic fermentation. The wine ages for 24 months in oak barrels, before a further rest in the bottle. The result is a Barbaresco with a ruby red color with garnet reflections, with a bouquet of red fruits, plums and cherries. On the palate it is velvety, balanced and with a pleasant acidity. Perfect to pair with red meats, game, mushroom dishes and mature cheeses. Serve at 18°C to fully appreciate its characteristics.
