Il Filo di Seta Brunello di Montalcino DOCG by Castello Romitorio embodies the strength and elegance of the wild terroir of the north-western area of Montalcino, thanks to historic Sangiovese vineyards cared for with dedication. After a meticulous selection, the wine ferments in cement vats at a controlled temperature and continues with a natural malolactic fermentation, followed by at least 24 months of aging in wood and 4 months in the bottle. The name is inspired by a stream near the castle, while the label, by Sandro Chia, depicts a dive into the Blue Grotto, evoking the lightness and unique expression of the terroir.
