Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a robust and intense wine from the Castelnuovo dell'Abate area, in the heart of Montalcino (SI), and obtained from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes. The harvest is done manually, followed by fermentation with maceration in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with daily pumping over and délestage. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes post-fermentation maceration and is aged in oak, where weekly batonnage lasts about 4 months, and then continues its refinement for another 20 months. On the palate, the wine is powerful, with light tannins, soft and persistent. It is ideal to serve at 18°C in large glasses, accompanied by roasts of white or red meat, poultry, game and mature cheeses. A great classic of the Tuscan tradition.
