Turriga Isola dei Nuraghi Rosso by Argiolas is a Sardinian excellence, the fruit of vineyards on calcareous soils rich in pebbles in the heart of the province of Cagliari. Created in 1988 by the famous winemaker Giacomo Tachis, it is a blend of Sardinian red grape varieties, with a touch of black Malvasia. After a manual harvest between October and November, the grapes are vinified separately, fermented at a controlled temperature and matured in French oak barriques for 18-24 months, followed by aging in the bottle. This wine stands out for its intense ruby red color, aromas of berries and pepper, and a warm, rounded and persistent taste, with elegant and well-integrated tannins. Ideal with red meats, roasts and mature cheeses, it offers extraordinary longevity and represents the soul of the Sardinian winemaking tradition.
