Shipping is the customer’s responsibility, but if requested, it will be arranged by Rarest Wines.
Available shipping rates, delivery times, and methods are subject to change without prior notice.
We recommend shipping to a business address to ensure delivery on the first attempt. Please also note that wine may only be shipped to adults and cannot be sent to post office boxes
or left at a location without a signature.
For the security of your purchases, wines cannot be combined from different accounts in a single shipment.
We require 24 hours’ notice for shipping or pickup requests.

GENERAL INFORMATION
BILLING
Shipping and handling fees will be charged to your chosen payment method.
Once the process is complete, you will receive a shipping notification via email.
Items picked up at our facility are packed in cardboard boxes provided free of charge; requests for polystyrene packaging, large-format packaging, or orders on pallets (often requested by third-party carriers) may be subject to additional charges.
WEATHER AND STORAGE OPTIONS
We want your shipment to be as safe as possible and for the wine to arrive in perfect condition. For this reason, your order will not be shipped under extreme weather conditions unless specifically requested. Many customers choose to ship when weather conditions permit, which means the wine will not be released until temperatures are between -5 and 20 degrees at both our facility and the destination. During this period, your wine will remain safe in our warehouse and will be shipped as soon as conditions permit. If you wish to have your wines shipped as soon as possible regardless of weather conditions, this means you accept all responsibility and agree that no claims will be accepted.
Storing and shipping your wines:
- You are free to accumulate bottles; in fact, your merchandise is recorded in our system and then stored free of charge for six months from the invoice date.
- If you’re interested in shipping only part of your inventory, please contact customer service with a list of the wines you’d like to ship and use our “shipping calculator” to get an estimate of the price and delivery time.
ORIGINAL BOXES
The original cases, included with some items on our website, may be made of wood, cardboard, plastic, or metal, and are shipped separately from your wines so that the bottles can be packed in polystyrene wine racks designed to protect them.
A separate fee will apply to these shipments, and since they are not temperature-sensitive, they may be shipped before your wines, depending on the weather and storage preferences.
SHIPPING OPTIONS
We work with various carriers to offer our customers affordable shipping options for their purchases. Select your shipping destination using our “shipping calculator” to view available options. By requesting shipping through your Rarest Wines account, you authorize us to pack your order in special polystyrene wine boxes, hand them over to the carrier, and charge the cost directly to your chosen payment method.
Other Shipping Options
For locations where our shipping services are not available or do not meet your needs, you can also use third-party courier services. There are several local third-party wine shipping companies that pick up shipments from our facility every week.
PICKUP AT THE OFFICE
You can pick up your order directly at our office Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding holidays) at Piazzetta delle Poste 19 in Bassano del Grappa, 36061 VI. Just email or call us 24 hours in advance. If you are unable to come in person to pick up the merchandise, simply email us the first and last name of the person who will be picking it up on your behalf. That person must present a valid photo ID to collect your order.
Any merchandise that is not picked up as scheduled will be subject to a restocking fee.
