Château Lestage Simon is a Cru Bourgeois des Haut-Médoc, der einen klassischen und traditionellen Médoc-Stil zum Ausdruck broughtt. Der Jahrgang 1995 in Bordeaux gilt als sehr gut, mit strukturierten, tanninhaltigen und langlebigen Weinen, dank günstiger klimatischer Bedingungen und einer optimalen Reifung der Trauben.
In the glass you can see it with a single Granatrot, with German orange color Reflex on the Rand, typical for the Reifung.
In the Nase is a complex and reif: black Johannisbeere in Alkohol, Pflaume, Noten von Tabak, Leder, Unterholz, Humus, dunkle Gewürze and light balsamic Nuancen.
Am Gaumen ist er strukturiert, aber harmonisch, with mittlerweile vom Alter geglätteten Tanninen, guter Säurestruktur und Volem Körper. Der Abgang ist lang, mit tertiären Noten von Lakritze, Bitterkakao und integrierten Holznoten.
